We fished all day and put in at sunrise. The bite was hard to get a pattern on as we only seemed to catch one fish on a single style bait, and then would have to switch baits to get the next bite. We just could not get a pattern going that would stick. Almost all the fish that were caught were in 5 to 8 feet of water at the edge of the grass line. Only got one fish on a deep diving crank in about 12 feet of water. But, we like the look of this lake and love the great concrete boat ramp, and the shaded boat dock. I think this lake will be great when the water cools off a little bit more and the shad start getting more active.
