Fished Twin Oaks from 6:30am to 10:30am.  Caught 2 culls on whopper plopper right away, then it was slow going until we left at 10:30.  Only 3 more bass after 7am, all dragging soft plastics on the bottom in the middle of the pond.  The property looks good – water’s up with good vegitation, and visibility about 18”.  This is the first time we’ve caught more than a couple of culls on this property, so that was a surprise, as well as the low number of fish altogether.  Chalk it up to the summer heat, they seem to all be sluggish and hugging the bottom.  Still, an enjoyable morning at a good property.
