Fished early to beat the heat but couldn't beat the wind. I caught one in the trees on a spitting popper and my granddaughter caught a little bluegill. Tried topwaters, chatterbaits, spinners, Senkos. Hard to cast and control the boat in the wind so tried fishing from shore. No takers. Left around 10:00.
