Finally a sub 100 degree day, so fellow member Mark Daugherty and I started at sun-up on Wildcard.  Water was stained w/ visibility to around 3-4 feet and mid-80’s.  Tried a frog all around the shallow vegetation, but missed the only bite I got.  Bites were pretty sporadic, but we managed 8-9 fish before we decided to move to Little A around 9:30.  Water there was very clear with visibility of 7+ feet and also mid to upper 80’s throughout the day.  We fished till around 4pm with a 30 min break for lunch and ended the day with 32 bass from less than a pound to right at 3lbs.  Most of the fish were between 1.5 and 2.5 lbs, and several of them were very skinny.  The drop shot with straight tail worms, paddletail swimbaits, and Tx rigged 10-11 inch worms got most of the bites.  We missed plenty of good bites (especially on the big worms), so it seems the fish outsmarted us a little on that front.
