On the water by 6:30am. Was fishing with my son and he caught a good size crappie off the dock within first five minutes. Then it was slow till about the last hour. First time for us on the lake – so we spent a lot of time exploring and trying to find the fish. Caught one directly across the lake from the dock in between some trees in the water. Caught 4 in the shallows between the shore and grass line. Still a fun day on the water and now that we better understand the lake – no doubt we will catch a lot more next time.
