Total Fish/Sizes : 40-50. 17 culled. The others were mostly 2.5-4lbs.
Lures Used : June bug plastics
Member Rick Waldrop and I fished Timber Lake on the morning of the 1st. Were treated to an overcast sky and a breeze to keep things comfortable, which was a big surprise after the last three weeks. Not much action from 7-8:30, then the bite started and lasted until we left at noon. Caught 40-50 with 17 culled and most of the returned fish being 2.5 – 4 lbrs. that fought and jumped like they were 6 – 7 lbrs. All were caught using June bug senkos or speed worms. We have always enjoyed fishing this lake and it lived up to its standards again today.
