Epic day at Cassidy! My son and I started around 6:45 in the morning and immediately started catching them on a frog in the grass! The fish hit and fought very hard. It seems as if every fish in this lake is 3 pounds or bigger, all with big heads/frames. We had 35 combined with our best 5 going over 20 pounds by 9:30 AM. We took a long break mid-day and fished a couple hours after that, consistently catching them on the outside grass line with a junebug Texas rig brush hog with a 1/8 oz weight to keep from getting too far in the grass. Cassidy Farms is a special place, and not too far from Dallas. Highly recommend.
