The day started with light wind, threw a chartreuse buzzbait and caught over a dozen and then the wind blew to over 20 mph the rest of the day until late which provided another round of topwater adding an additional 10 or so. During the day  I anchored out and tried various baits and determined they liked the watermelon seed brushhog and the ol'monster worm in watermelon seed. The fish were caught all around the perimeter of the lake with the most in the old pond. Overall, it was an awesome day considering the wind and I ended up with 56 LMB from 2 to 5.4 lbs and culled 8. The fish looked healthy. The lake looked great with near perfect grass. Thanks goes out to the landowner for continued maintenance of the lakes on this property,  great job!!
