After some trouble with the code and lock my guest and were able to slide our rods and other equipment under the gate and then also we were able to slide under the gate ourselves. Thanks you Colt for your efforts to help us out. It is about a quarter mile walk to the boat ramp from the gate. I had to leave my trolling motor and battery in my truck. I did have a boat paddle. The lake is beautiful. There are “dollar pads” around the edges. I assume the bass just were’t in and active mode. We will fish it again. Good luck to anybody who fishes it next.

The lock at Hudson is unlike any other I've encountered. You must line up the numbers across the bottom, not the center. My last trip there, it took a few minutes to get it open.
