Weather man really missed the wind forcast 5/9 but the wind was blowing so much harder, easy 15 plus..

I had to take off my front anchor and add it to the back, jsut  to hold me so I could fish..

Lake looks beautiful with a lot of grass and fishable water from the car, however; the dark black slimmy grass is really thick and difficult to fish around.

Half my time was spent de-grassing hooks and baits.

However, the fish are strong and really put up a good fight.

Could have been a much better day had the wind not been so difficult. 

I have found fishing from kayaks, when the wind gets out of control I simply anchor down in the grass and fish out from the shoreline. Not my most favorite thing to do, but it works.

Like so many other PWF lakes a lot of fun and challenging.
