Booked the afternoon spot on Sunday and it was a hot one. Water temp 88 vis only a foot due to the rains the night before water is very murkey. Arriverd at one oclock with my new fish finder and spent the first few hours trying to find brushpiles,drop offs,etc.. in the hopes of finding where the crappie are hanging out with out much luck. I did manage to pick up three crappie and three bass. The bass where all about 16-17 inches and the crappie only 10-11 inches. I fished hard until dusk but it just wasnt meant to be they never started biting. Looks like i will just to try again
