Great day at Backside of the Moon Lake. My buddy and I fished in the afternoon on 6/10. Temperature was in the mid 90s. Caught 12 largemouth and 1 crappie. The bass were between 2-6 lbs. All were caught on creature bates on the rocky points on the SE side of the lake closer to the dam. The bite slowed down later in the afternoon. Great lake! We’ll be back. *** The trail was very difficult to follow to get to the lake and boat launch. A lot of overgrowth. Take your time as the terrain is pretty rough.
