The second you pull up to this body of water signs of life in the water are everywhere. Bait fish and blue gill by the thousands everywhere you look.  I borrowed the plastic Jon boat this trip which was probably the most stable small boat I've experienced.  There is a lot of grass as others have stated but the fishing was great once I figured out a good pattern.  All my catches were between 1 and 2.5 lbs this trip but I was able to see some bigger ones swimming around.  The visibility in the water here is incredible.  I could watch nearly half of the bass I caught take the lure (and I could watch little blue gill pick at it too).  I’ve not done too much sight fishing in the past but I could get better at it I keep coming back! It's a cool property with a kind owner who  is a lot of fun to chat with.  Hope to come back soon!
