We just spoke with the owner at Carbon – Button Lake.  The lake is almost full and open again for fishing…and the fishing is great.  He had his two grandsons out the other day and they caught 1 over 10, 2 over 8 and another over 6!

He also added a rock ramp so launching aluminum boats should not be a problem.  Don’t miss a chance to get out there early, we love West Texas lakes because the periodic droughts create a new lake effect that can lead to huge bass (think OH Ivie).
