Fished the big lake in the AM got on the water at daylight and fished until noon. Water temp 82 with 2ft visibility with almost no wind and clear skys. It was on from the first cast i picked up a few on a topwater frog and two on a shallow running crankbait, but they were on fire for a white frog fished texas rigged. I caught them all over the lake and around the island. I cant remember the last time i was able to catch this many fish in the 2.5-5lb range with most of them at 3.5. These fish are healthy and in great shape. I missed just as many as i landed because they were only grabbing the legs of the bait. The only real vegatation is some snot grass that can foul a treble hook, but it isnt really a problem. I will be returning soon. An amazing day on club waters
