My friend and I had a fun and unique day fishing Lakota Lake.  We fished all day starting at about 7:30 AM.  Partly cloudy skies and warm.  We caught about 17 bass, small and reaching up to about 3 lbs.  We also caught 3 nice size crappie.  We missed a lot fish as well.  All the fish were caught along the weed/grass lines.  The most successful baits were the Bandito Bug and a white paddle tail swim bait that contained ridges on its body.  We caught two on a red lipless rattle crank bait.  The unique part of the day came when we netted this 30 lb carp.  We always enjoy fishing Lakota Lake and will of course return.
