Great day at new spot for both me and Bass Assassin fishing buddy, Scott Wheeler.

On the water just after sunrise and encountered a touch of rain that blew off quickly to partly cloudy sky's and light wind.  Water had about a 1 ½ ft  clarity, with clean bottoms., lake appeared to be at level.  We found most fish along the grass line or 10-20 yards off in 10-15 foot of water.  Slow retrieve was name of the game today.  Allowing lures to bounce on bottom or slow crank on the underspin.  Not much production along the old dam line shown in photos on site  (4 fish total), nothing hitting in stumps.  Allthough nothing significant by weight, these fish were healthy and fought above their weight class.  Fish seemed relatively scattered, finding them all along the inside perimeter.
