Slipped out to Rock Chimney to have an afternoon on the lake before a rainy pattern sets in.  The day started as expected, on the water by 12:30 under cloudy skies with a good breeze from the south and a chance of early afternoon rain.  Fish were active & cooperative in the deep end of the lake, and most were good size, 2 to 3+ lb. 

No big surprise when darkening skies produced nearby lightning and light rain, so took a break around 2pm.  But a train of thunderstorms kept rolling thru.  Finally got back on the water from 4:30 and stayed a couple hours until more storms & lightning came too close for comfort.  Will to wait for a better day!
