I fished this big new lake today and fought 15-20 mph winds all day.  This lake catches every bit of the wind, so it can be a problem.  The aluminum boat provided is on a lift with the battery fully charged for you - nice!  I fished alone and caught eight bass, with only one weighing under two pounds.  Biggest was 5-0. A bigger one broke me off.  I fished shorelines and threw a big spinner bait mainly because it was so difficult to fish anything lighter.  Also caught a couple on Senkos and tried topwater with very little success.  Every bass was really fat-bellied.

Property owner came out and talked a while, and he is a great guy. Very helpful and pleasant.  I had a great time today and will return if I can get lucky with the weather.
