Triple J Lake: Premier Fishing Close to Downtown Dallas

Just 15 minutes south of downtown Dallas, Triple J Lake offers a fantastic 14-acre fishing destination for local anglers. With depths reaching 15 feet, the lake is teeming with bass and crappie, producing impressive average catches of 2-3 lbs. Recent additions of brush piles and annual forage enhancements make Triple J a continually improving and rewarding site.

Features and Amenities

• Bank Fishing: The lake’s open banks allow for easy casting, with nothing obstructing your back cast.

• Member Boat Access: A 12-foot jon boat is available for members on the east side of the lake, near the old swimming pool. Please remember to return the boat to its original location after use.

Triple J Lake combines the convenience of a quick drive from Dallas with excellent fishing conditions, making it perfect for a relaxing after-work outing or a weekend escape. Enjoy quality catches and scenic surroundings just a short trip from the city!

Requirements

• Mandatory Fish Removal: Remove all bass under 14 inches and all crappie. After your outing, report the total count of each species removed to the club office through the online harvest report system.

• Boat Return: After using the on-site jon boat, please return it to the exact spot where you found it on the east side of the lake.

• Seasonal Fishing Availability: During duck season, fishing is limited to PM ONLY for safety and convenience.
