Six O Ranch Lake: A Premier 50-Acre Fishing Haven

Experience top-notch fishing at Six O Ranch Lake, a picturesque 50-acre waterway established in 1985 within a tranquil, dammed valley. With depths reaching 45 feet, the lake features an ideal mix of shallow waters, lush vegetation, and abundant timber, making it a haven for anglers. Stocked exclusively with Florida bass, copper-nose bluegill, and various forage fish, this lake is renowned for its impressive catches, including bass over 14 lbs. and bluegill up to 2 lbs.

Bank and Boat Access

Please note, while several areas provide excellent bank fishing, a boat is recommended to fully explore the lake.

• Boat Launch: Only hand-launchable boats are allowed, as trailers are not permitted in the water.

• Pontoon Boat: A mini pontoon boat is available for member use, conveniently tied to the dock. Please bring your own trolling motor and battery, as the previous fiberglass boat is no longer available.

Requirements

• Advance Notice: A 24-hour notice is required to fish at this location.

• Gate Access: If the gate is closed with a horseshoe, it is unlocked. Please enter and be sure to close the gate behind you.

Fishing Requirements

• Mandatory Fish Removal: Remove all bass 14 inches and under, as well as all crappie. After your outing, report the total number of each species removed through the club's online reservation system.

• Catch Report: Complete the Catch Report Sheet located on the clipboard in the shed up the hill from the dock before you leave.

Boat and Clean-Up Guidelines

• Boat Tie-Up: Please tie the boats up exactly as you found them.

• Trash Removal: Take all trash with you when you leave. The basket on the dock is not for trash, so please do not leave anything in it.
