This 10 acre soil conservation lake is just a few miles north of the sleepy town of Paden and just 1 hour east OKC and 1 hour west of Tulsa. The lake was built in the 1960's and has been a solid place to catch bass for a long time. Most of the lake is less than 6 feet, but there are a couple of deeper channels that hold fish. The cove to the right of the boat launch has a really cool rock out cropping that is just beautiful.

The lake has both crappie and catfish. You may keep the catfish and crappie. We are not harvesting bass at this time.

The road off the county road to the lake is a bit rough and 4WD with high under clearance strongly suggested. We would recommend not fishing here a day or two after a heavy rain.

The boat launch area is shallow and we do not recommend launching any boat with an outboard motor. Jon boats, Plastic boats and kayaks should launch just fine. The property is rustic and rural.
