Red Lake Overview

Location:
Conveniently located centrally between Dallas, Austin/San Antonio, and Houston, Red Lake is a 24-acre lake situated on a beautiful ranch just east of Fairfield, Texas. It is an ideal destination for anglers from all major Texas markets.

Lake Features:
  • Size: 24 acres
  • Electrofishing Survey: The survey found a high density of bass, including one bass over 6 lbs and another over 5 lbs. There are certainly some big bass in the lake.
  • Fishing Access:
    • Covered Dock: A nice covered dock is available for anglers to fish from.
    • Boat Launch: The lake has a rock ramp suitable for launching full-size boats.
    • No Club Boats: Please note that there is no boat provided for members. You must bring your own boat or kayak for fishing.
Access:
  • The lake is accessible via a great all-weather road that takes you into the heart of the ranch and to Red Lake.
Harvesting:
  • It is mandatory to remove all bass under 14 inches, along with any crappie and catfish caught.

Lodging Options:
Red Lake offers two lodging opportunities that include fishing access. All lodging reservations must be made through the club office (currently not available for online booking).

Option #1: Lake Lodge
  • Description: A beautiful 2-bedroom lodge overlooking Red Lake. The lodge offers a spacious living room, outdoor kitchen, and a large outdoor patio. It’s a perfect destination for a dream weekend getaway with your best customer, spouse, or friend.
  • Bedroom 1: Features two queen-sized beds, large walk-in closets, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a cozy sitting area with a fireplace and TV that opens to the back porch.
  • Bedroom 2: Includes a queen-sized bed, large walk-in closet, a TV, and a full bathroom accessible from the main living area.
  • Amenities: Spacious outdoor patio, full kitchen, outdoor kitchen with top-tier cooking options, and more.
  • Reservation Details:
    • Price: $850 per person (2-night, 3 fishing day minimum; 2-person minimum).
    • Includes the use of 1 small plastic boat (per 2 people) with a battery and trolling motor.
    • Access to both Red Lake and Harding Lake (if available).
Option #2: Hill Top Single Room Cabin
  • Description: A cozy single-room cabin situated above the large lodge with a fully equipped kitchen and two sets of bunk beds.
  • Amenities: A fully functional kitchen and a cozy setting for a relaxing stay.
  • Reservation Details:
    • Price: $650 per person (2-night, 3 fishing day minimum; 2-person minimum).
    • Includes the use of 1 Pond Prowler (a 2-man plastic boat) with battery and trolling motor.
    • Access to both Red Lake and Harding Lake (from sunrise to sunset for 3 days).
    • 48-hour advance notice is required to make a reservation.

  • Fishing: Both lodging options provide access to both Red Lake and Harding Lake during your stay.
  • Road Conditions: Members should follow directions closely to ensure safe access to Red Lake.
