Welcome to Post Oak Lake: A Fishing Retreat for All Fans

Located just 29 miles from Kyle Field, Post Oak Lake is a 23-acre gem that’s a favorite among Aggie fans. While Longhorn and Red Raider fans are welcome, be prepared for an Aggie takeover on game days! The property features a well-appointed cabin ideal for small groups of 2 to 4. Members can enjoy the lake using a pontoon boat, but please bring your own trolling motor and battery.
Spanning 640 acres, the ranch has been managed by a professional lake management company since 2007, ensuring great fishing experiences. It’s common to catch 2- to 4-pound fish, with average days yielding over 40 catches.
Please note: There is a small 1 to 2-acre pond above the main lake that PWF members are not permitted to fish. Additionally, an 8-acre lake near the main house is off-limits to Private Water Fishing members. Violating these rules may result in the termination of your membership. Enjoy your time at Post Oak Lake!
Requirements
• MANDATORY: Please remove all bass measuring 14 inches and under during your visit. After your outing, report the total number of each species removed to the club office through the online harvest report system.
• Pontoon Boat: A pontoon boat is available for member use. Please provide your own trolling motor and battery to power the boat.
• Advance Notice: A 48-hour notice is required to lodge at this site.
• Trash Policy: Please take all trash accumulated during your stay with you.
• Deposit Requirement: All lodging requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit.
• Football Game Weekends: During the six home Texas A&M football game weekends, a two-night minimum stay is required, along with a 50% nonrefundable deposit for the trip.
• Check-In/Check-Out Times:
• Check-in: 3:00 P.M.
• Check-out: 12:00 P.M. (Noon)
DO NOT fish the 8-acre lake at this time; it is currently under management.
Additionally, there is a small 1 to 2-acre pond above the main lake and another 8-acre lake near the main house that PWF members are not permitted to fish. Violating these rules may result in the loss of your membership and could jeopardize PWF’s lease. Thank you for your cooperation!
