Malouf Lake: A Premier Fishing Destination Near Dallas

Malouf Lake has long been a cherished spot for club members, thanks to its prime location just outside Dallas. This 30-acre lake boasts a diverse fishing environment, including timber, flats, deep water, weed lines, and points, offering excellent fishing variety and experiences.

The site now features an all-weather gravel road leading from the gate directly to a concrete boat ramp, perfect for launching large fiberglass boats. Additionally, around 35% of the lake can be accessed for bank fishing. For member convenience, a 12-foot aluminum jon boat is available on-site. Please ensure you do not drag the boat on the concrete ramp to keep it in optimal condition for all members.

Requirements

• Catch Policy: Do not harvest any bass from this site. Crappie may be removed; please report all crappie catches to the club office via the online reservation system after your outing.

• Gate Protocol: Lock and close the gate upon entering and exiting to secure livestock on this active cattle ranch.

• Boat Use: Avoid dragging the boat on the concrete ramp, as this can damage the hull. Instead, launch the boat from the grass, and when done fishing, leave it under the tree on the grass.

• Boating Restrictions: Gas motors are not permitted. Children must wear life jackets, and adults must have a life jacket available on the boat.

• Alcohol Policy: No alcohol is allowed on the property.

• Parking and Access: Park only in the designated area near the boat ramp. Refrain from driving around the property.

• Seasonal Fishing Hours: Fishing is limited to PM hours only during duck season.
