Just 1 mile from the new ultra mega Samsung complex in Taylor is this 30 acre lake. The lake is about 50% lined with "cattails" which provides excellent cover for both bass and bluegill. The lake has several deep holes to 15 feet. Our elctrofishing results produced primarily bass in the 12-15" size but we did electrofish a couple of 7 lb bass. This lake is exactly 30 miles from downtown Austin. Talk about convenient!!

There is an improved dirt/rock ramp that is capable of launching small aluminum boats up to about 16 feet. There is a 12 foot jon boat for members to use.

Requirements

MANDATORY!!! Remove all bass 14” and under at this site. Report the total number of each species removed, back to the club office through the online reservation system after your outing.

You may keep all catfish and crappie from the lake.
