Drive slowly on the property. No smoking, no fires.
Do you like trophy bass? Dozens of 10 lb plus bass have been caught from this 21 acre lake that was built in 1986. In 2006 a 15.4 lb bass was caught and the mount of the fish can be seen in the owners home (see photo). This is only 3 oz. shy of a Texas private lake record. Each year there are more than a dozen 10 lb fish caught from this lake with only a handful of days fished. The lake has creek channels, humps, points, timber and lots of deep water. In some places you can be 15 feet from the shore and be in 20 foot water. Water depths up to 32 feet can be found and a deep creek runs through the middle of the lake. You will probably not catch dozens of 3 to 5 lb fish on your trip and you will certainly catch small fish, but the chance to catch a 10 lb or better fish are as good here as any club lake. This lake is for the angler who is looking for one big fish and understands that the big fish don't bite everyday. This lake has produced as many fish over 7 lbs as any lake in the club.

There is a boat launch marked on the site map on the south side of the lake and is perfect for boats 17 feet and smaller. PWF staff launches their 16 foot alumnacraft with 50 HP motor from this launch. The launch is steep, but doable; just back in slowly. On the opposite of the lake across the dam, larger fiberglass boats have been launched, approx 50 feet west of the NE corner of the dam. This is not an improved ramp, and if you are bringing your brand new 21 foot $60k fiberglass boat you may want to pass on using it at this lake. However, dozens of large fiberglass boats have used this area to launch with great success. As with all our lakes that do not have concrete ramps 4 wheel drive is recommended when launching heavy boats.

There is a jon boat with bench seating available for members to use.
