Culpepper Farms has a deep family history that dates back many generations. Today, the family is allowing PWF members to access this spectacular 14-acre lake just a few miles outside Denison Texas; just 1 hour north of Plano. The lake is a soil conservation lake built-in 1968 with depths of 18 feet. The lake has two small islands and is longer in shape than most soil conservation lakes. The shape and islands create more shoreline making the 14-acre lake fish bigger than 14 acres. Over the years dozens of bass over 10 lbs have been caught with the lake record just slightly over 12 lbs. There are catfish and crappie in the lake; which you may keep.

You may keep all crappie and catfish.

There is a single 12 ft. flat bottom aluminum jon boat for member use. Please bring a trolling motor and battery to power the boat.

There is a concrete boat ramp suitable for launching small boats up to about 16 feet. We recommend backing down slowly when launching as there is a slight drop-off at the end of the ramp. We are working to add rock to the back of the ramp so that full-size boats may be launched. At this time, we recommend launching plastic boats, kayaks, or smaller aluminum boats 16 feet or smaller.

There is an all-weather road to the lake except for the final turn which is just 200 feet to the lake.

Fishing (on land) from the bank is allowable on about 50% of the lake. You can fish the whole lake from a boat. The family has homes around the shallower side of the lake (opposite end of the dam) and out of privacy, we ask that you not fish past the fence (at the boat ramp). Requirements

MANDATORY!!! Remove all bass 14" and under at this site along with all crappie and catfish. Report the total number of each species removed, back to the club office through the online reservation system after your



outing.
