Hackamore Ranch is home to several ponds and lakes and is just 49 miles from the state capital. The signature lake on this ranch is Bremmond Lake; which is 18 acres and is home to one the largest concentrations of bass over 5 lbs that we have surveyed. While we did not electrofish any fish over 7 lbs, we KNOW there are many there. The number of fish in the 4 to 6 lb range was incredible. The lake will vary in size from 10 acres when low to almost 20 acres when full. About 30% of the lake is covered in timber making the anticipation of pitching to each tree a heart-stopping experience.

Please note there are two lakes our members may fish on. Each lake requires a separate reservation.

There is a 12 foot (12' long 42" wide and stable) jon boat for members to use.

There is a rock ramp capable of launching aluminum boats up to 16/17 feet. We always recommend having 4 WD when launching any boat.

Please note there is a second lake with a Private Water Fishing sign at the gate after following CR 446 3/10 of a mile at the 90-degree turn. KEEP GOING this is NOT the lake you have reserved. Your lake is 6/10 of a mile further down the road on your right.

Please note that you must lock AND Latch the gate. If the cows get out your membership will be terminated.

Requirements

The lake requires a 2 person minimum.

MANDATORY!!! Remove all bass 14" and under at this site. Report the total number of each species removed, back to the club office through the online reservation system after your outing.

Take all trash with you. Clean boat of all trash including your used soft plastics.
