Alysha Ranch - Clarksville, Texas

This 30-acre soil conservation lake, built in the 1950s, has long been a favorite fishing spot in the Clarksville area. Known for its abundant bass population, anglers regularly catch fish in the 1.5 to 2.5 lb range, with a 10 lb+ bass landed nearly every year. The lake record is a 12.3 lb bass caught in 2012. In addition to bass, the lake also holds crappie and catfish.

Lake Features:
  • Creek Channel: Runs through the middle of the lake, providing excellent structure for fish.
  • Depths: Up to 12 feet, with the deepest area near the pier and extending south toward the dam.
  • Orientation: The lake runs North to South, with the dam on the south end.

Requirements


  • Mandatory Fish Removal: Remove all bass 14 inches and under, as well as all crappie. Report the total number of each species removed through the online reservation system after your outing.

  • Duck Season Restrictions: Fishing is limited to PM ONLY during duck season.

  • Vehicle Requirements: During periods of heavy rainfall, four-wheel drive vehicles are required.

  • Boating: A 15-foot Jon boat is available for use, but you must bring your own trolling motor, battery, anchor, and paddle.
