  • ***DO NOT HARVEST ANY BASS AT THIS SITE. You may still remove any crappie caught and report them to the club office through the online reservation system after your outing***

    No night fishing. No pets. No smoking in the cabin.

    Members must provide their own linens and towels. Please take all trash accumulated during your stay with you when you leave.

    1 week notice is required to lodge at this site and requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit.

Athens - Northeast Lake

Athens: Northeast Lake is an exemplary representation of the great Athens waters. This 13 acre scenic lake is nestled among various varieties of oaks and pines and has depths to 15 feet. There is limited bank fishing from the shore.

This lake has been stocked with both Florida and native bass as well as blue gill. It consistently produces bass in the 2 to 4 lb class. Bass over 5 lbs are caught with regularity. Largest bass to date is 11.32 lbs.

Northeast Lake is also a great family site with it's A-frame cabin for rent. This 4 bedroom cabin has beds to sleep 7 people.

There is a 12 ft flat bottom jon boat available for members to use.
