Leesburg - Julian Lake
Julian Lake is a 17-acre lake with depths up to 10 feet. Built in 1975 this lake has birch and willow tree stumps throughout, creating a lot of structure. High numbers of 1 1/2 to 4 pound bass are common. The largest fish to date is 8 pounds. Starting in 2010 this lake is on fertilization program. We want to grow some big fish in this lake.
There is no bank fishing, but small boats can be launched by hand. A two man buster boat is included with the day rate. Lodging is available. See details below.

Slow day for me at Julian on Friday. Lake was off color, as previous reports indicated. Pretty much chocolate milk colored with about 6 inch visibility. No fish boated, but managed to hang 4 in the 12 to 14… - Tom Strother on Jun 03 ,2017
Decided Thurs. night to try Julian Lake on Friday afternoon. Confirmed, as another member previously had posted last fall, that most all the grass is gone from this lake. In spite of the calm, beautiful weather, bites were hard to come… - Larry Jordan on Apr 08 ,2017
