What a great club!

Date Posted: 11/1/2010
What a terrific membership group we have at Private Water Fishing. I have thought this from day one, when I bought the club almost one year ago and my feelings are constantly re-affirmed on a weekly basis. Those feelings have never been stronger than two weekends ago when 5 members, a members guest, Brian and I showed up for a work day at Grapeland Bennett Lake. Saturday October 23rd, "Chain-saw" David Burrow, Bryan "I love to fish" Durrett, Johnny "the painter" Gill, "Brisket" Bob Lundin, Dale "the working machine" Rhoads, Dan "let me tie another brush pile together" Stables, Brian…

Date Posted: 10/1/2010

Adding habitat

Date Posted: 6/22/2010
We have been adding brush piles to several lakes this summer. Look for new habitat in Ferris Triple J, Weston SW Lake and Van Alystne Jermar Lake. We have added 4 trailer loads, to Weston SW lake and with the exception of a few all are marked by PVC or stakes. In other words it is easy to find the piles. Please note that JerMar and Triple J have also added more than a $1500 worth of Tilapia to these lakes to keep the bass fat and healthy. Weston SW lake is now on a feeding program for their bluegill.
