The weather was great.  Mike and I fished from noon to 6:00 PM.  The lake looks to be full.  Fair amount of grass, but very fishable.  Water temperature was 72 -74 degrees.  Water clarity about 1’.  The water looked more stained this time to us, from what we remember.  We caught 7, of which we harvested 1 bass & 4 crappies.  Texas rigged fluke and a spinner bait are what worked for us this time.  The concrete boat ramp is great.  Makes launching and recovering our two small boats very easy.  And the lake is very secluded and quite. There are some huge bass in this lake, just couldn’t find them today.  So we will be back again sometime later this year.
