I fished Malouf witrh two clients on 4/13. We arrived at 3 PM and fished until 6:30. Air temp was 80 and water temp was 73. Wind was out of the south steady at 10 with a few gusts to 15. 

We fished plastics most fo the afternoon with a majority of fish caught on a watermelon Yum Dinger. We had a few blow ups on a white scum frog, but had a hard time keeping the fish on. The grass is pretty heavy on the west side and we caught fish on the edgw of grass and in the timber near the middle of the lake. Biggest fish was 4.5, second biggest was 3.5. All others were chunky 2 pounders.

Word of caution – ther’s alot of road construction around Lancaster. The best way to gert there is driving to Ferris and coming in from the south.
