On the water by 0815, drizzle and dark overcast until mid morning slowed the bite. The multiple brushpiles were pretty productive especially on the west side of the lake. The winds were calm and majority of fish on senkos fished slowly, shallow off the bank or around structure. One good topwater hookup, missed 2. Chatterbait with swimbait trailer also good, but nothing on rattle trap or crankbaits. Managed a handful of 3+ pounders that fought above their weight class, but mostly culls or slightly above. The lake was full with the moss just starting to show. Great day fishing and enjoyed the weather and the beautiful lake when the sun was out.
