Late evening trip with a big thunderstorm, most notably lightening chasing off the lake.. In a short period of time, throwing a plastic frog over the small moss bed near the boat dock garnered a lot of bites, a 2 pounder and a fun evening. Chatter bait also landed a few, but the Frog was the star of the show. Started raining near the end of the 2 hour visit, and the water seemed to be warming up. Actual temp topped out at 70 but as the storm came through, temps dropped dramatically along with light rain. Boat is heavy for those interested, may be a two person move only or strong solo.
