”Lake Level Full And Going Into Spillway”
A Very Nice Day On Pecan Gap, It Was Great To See It At It’s Full Level Again And Flowing Into The Spillway.
The Day Started Off A Bit Slow, Lots Of Stuff Floating In The Water After The Heavy Rains Friday.
Took Some Time To Find What Those Bass Might Be Interested In Chasing.
Once The Fog Lifted And It Started To Warm Up A Little The Bass Started To Get A Little More Active.
Steve Boated The First 2 Around The Hump That Leads Back Towards The Timber End Of The Lake
And I Hadn’t Even Got Hit Yet, But The It All Started To Come Together.
Started Picking Up Some 2 To 3lb fish At The 4 To 6 Ft Depths Close To The Shore Line..
This Went Through Out The Mornng, Nothing Big But Fairly Consistent.
Just Before We Took Our Mid Day Break Steve Landed The Big Catch Of The Day 6+LBS
Very Healthy With Eggs And A Bloody Tail.
We Never Had Any Luck In The Deeper Water And Only Late In The Day Did We Pick Up Any Near The Dam
And They Were All Close To The Bank..I Got My Biggest Right At The Boat Launch Area A 4 lb chunk.
The Majority Of Our Catch Was All Close To The Bank And Tight Against The Timber.
Not A Big Day For Multiple Big Fish, But As Always We Had A Good Time On This Beautiful Property.
Pecan Gap Always A Favorite, Tight Lines Ya”ll
