Fished Jones Lake  from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. The lake was above the full stage with visibility to 24” and vegetation was not a problem for plastics.All the stock tanks were full and most of the fields had standing water from Anna to Bonham to Clarksburg but the field leading the the lake was dry and cracking.

We caught 17 bass and 2 crappie. Three of the bass were removed.Additionally two crappie were caught. The largest bass was 3 ½ lbs along with 2 at 3 lbs.We used lizards,flukes,senkos.wackys and tx rigs in many colors. The 4” red shad yum dinger tx rig was the most productive however most everything caught something.The bass were generally along the grass line.

As we were starting to leave three teenagers drove up to the far end of the lake and had thier radio so loud that it seemed loud to us at the opposite end of the lake.They were not fishing but walked over to fool with the fish feeder on the dam.
