Guest and I fished West Lake from 9:30 to sundown.  Thought it was going to be one of those days when we arrived to almost no wind and a slight mist in the air but winds picked up and the sun came out before lunchtime.

Fished seemed to be scattered catching some on the bank and as many off shore. Biggest fish was in a some lilly pads.  Lost several decent fish throwing the bait on a jump or getting wrapped up on timber.  Most fish came from upper end of lake on both banks just before getting to the fence.  We think someone left the gate open and most fish were in the much larger pad fields we could see.

We did take a break for lunch around 1:30 and would recommend Tia Juanita’s in Henderson.
