I had a great day of fishing Post Oak Lake on a chilly morning. I started the day later than I wanted to, not getting on the water until about 8:30 AM. Starting temperatures were in the low 50s, winds were out of the north 10 to 15 MPH,  and a very overcast day. I fished from 8:30AM to 11:30AM and managed to catch 24 bass. 90% of the bass were 15” to 16” and I did manage to land an 18” and a 20”early in the trip. Many of the 15”-16” fish fought a lot like the 20 inch fish. The fish in Post Oak Lake are very healthy fish. They look well fed and have beautiful colors. 

I caguht 100% of my fish on the Zoom U-Tail Electric Blue plastic worm. All the fish  I caught were within 10 feet of the bank just a few feet off of the vegetation that grew on off the particular bank I was fishing.

The property owners’ boat makes a perfect casting deck for a lake this size. Very stable and very comfortable, I’ll be leaving. my little pond jumper at home on future visits to this lake.
