Two of us fished hard from noon to 4:30. Weather was cloudy, light wind and 70 degrees. Tried cranking and a variety of soft plastics for three hours and zero bites. Finally decided to stay deep and caught a 5.5 on a deep brush pile with the Ole Monster. 10 minutes later caught the 4.0 on the same brush pile.

We enjoyed the weather and the solitude. Can’t wait to go back when the lake is full.
