Got there at 7:30.  Broke a rod loading the boat.  Trolling motor broke.  Pulled transducer off the boat.  Got off and fixed trolling motor.  Got back on and the wind was 30 mph and water was whitecapping.  My Xi3 trolling motor couldn't hold us against the wind.  Saw the wind pick up the owners Jon boat and flip it over.  So, we got off at 11:00 and went home.  Caught zero.

Love this property - hopefully weather and boat cooperate next time.

If you have fished for any period of time, you will have days just like this. Days like this REALLY make you appreciate the good days so much more.

I thought I was reading one of my experiences for awhile there.  I’ve had that Comedy of Errors thought a time or two…that time I fell in the boat, that other time I did too, that time it was out of the boat, etc…
