Reservation Number : 34053
Property Name : Double A Lake
Reservation Date : 10/16/2022 All Day -
Total Fish/Sizes : 1 - 5lbs, 1 - 1lb
Lures Used : Rattle trap, senko, fluke, frog, crankbait, chatterbait,

First trip to Double A. 72 degree water temp. Started at daylight, right before it started pouring. Rained hard for a few hours but I was ready with rain gear. Didn't hook anything until 11, 1 pounder on a silver/black back rattle trap over the weed tops. About noon, caught a nice fish, 5ish lbs, also on the rattle trap.

About 1pm as I was getting ready to wrap up the trip, I saw a school of bass across the lake attacking shad on the surface, boiling the water like tuna in the ocean. They were gone by the time I got to the spot.

Nice lake – I'll be back.

Hey Charles, thanks for the report.  I’m headed out next Saturday to Double A.  I was going to bring my 17ft bass Tracker.  Did the ramp area look doable?  Appeciate the insight….

Hi Jason, I was there a couple of weeks ago, and the ramp is solid.  You won’t have any problem launching your boat.

I lauched my 17’ tracker when the water was lower no problem.  A month or so later we launched my buddies full sized skeeter with no issues/easily as well.
