Got to the lake about 6:30 and took the club boat passed the dam throwing a Rat-L-Trap.  No takers until I got to the trees in the deep water just passed the dam when I picked up a small bass.  Changed to Texas Rigged worm and and caught 2 just under 3 lbs on my fist two casts. Stayed with the T Rigg and fished the trees in the deep water on the perimeter of the main lake all morning.  Threw the wacky worm after my T Rigg broke off in the timber and caught a couple on it as well. It started getting slow about 10:30 but still picked up a few more. Actually caught the last bass throwing the T Rigg to a tree on my way back in.  He was only about 1.5 lbs but came out of the water jumping and flipping like an acrobat.  Great way to finish a realy good morning.  Didn’t catch any big ones, but all these fish were great looking, fat, and healthy fighters,  The bite seemed really light so I’m sure I missed several.  Looking forward to the next time out.
