Fished all day at Timber Lake. Launched at 7:00 AM and pulled out at 5:30.

Started out fishing frogs in the shoreline grass. 0 bites, so we moved to the main lake points. Caught a total of 46 bass with the largest being 4lbs.

We never ventured up either of the creeks – the surface tempature was 90F at 7:00 AM.

Caught the majority of our fish in 15-18 feet on jigs and texas rig. 

Was a beautiful day to be out, just the right amount of wind to keep us from overheating.

The lake is in great shape, much less vegetation than I was expecting. The boat ramp is a little sketchy, i would not reccomend launching anything over 19ft… the angle is steep.
