Our second time to this lake and it didnt disappoint. Started the day at 0630 with zaraspooks and the fish put on an aerial display! The area by overflow produced the best quality LMB in about 8 ft depth. Water temp was 87 and 10-15 mph wind (in Texas you got to add those together = 25mph wind!!) help keep air temp manageable.

It was my wifes birthday and the fish cooperated! Thanks to the opportunities offered by PWF, she has become a very accomplished angler!

We had plenty of 4-5 pounders, but we also had a few who seemed like their head had grown faster than their body. Overall length greater than 14” but a little on the slim side! Im guessing thats one of the reasons why culling the little bucks is so important. I will happily cull all day long if it brings about a quality fishery like this place.
