Took a guest fishing on 4-30 and had fun. Dealing with the wind made it tough, but I’m sure everyone is sick of hearing that this year. We only caught 6 that would have been under the slot if this property was culling fish. No giants, but 20 that were 2-3lbs. Lure presentation was extremely limited due to weeds & wind, pretty much settled on ploppers & buzz baits. Thought it might get better toward the end of the day but the opposite happened. All topwater turned off & we called it a day. Had a nice visit with the owners too, wich is always great.
