I fished with PWF member Greg Couch on Saturday April 30. The ranch was beautifully manicured as always.  The temperature and wind conditions were perfect (finally - no gale force winds!)The top water bite was on early and continued until the sun broke though the clouds around 10AM.

we caught a lot of bass on top waters, ZCraws, chatterbaits and swim jigs.  There was only one slow period about 1:30-3:00.  The rest of the time the bite was consistent with the BassForecast Epic rating.

We caught mostly solid fish with only 2-3 dinks.  We caught 6 or 7 over 18 inches (up to 20) and Greg lost what would have been a PB right at the boat.

One notable mention is that we had trouble hanging on to fish.  We had more than 50 fish come loose as we were reeling them in which is way more than I can ever remember except when frog fishing.
