I always think of Fork when I fish the timber at this lake.  The water was perfect, tea-colored E. Texas style with visibility to 2’.  I was glad to see the lake higher than my last trip.  All fish were post-spawn, and culled 11 through the day.  WIth 25 mph winds, I used stumps and a dock line so I could actually fish rather than fight the trolling motor.  The fish were hitting hard with no subtlety.  Biggest fish was 20” and just under 5 lbs.
